“This is our most energetic and fun album so far, but it carries a deeper message — how to be happy while maintaining respect for yourself and those around you,” say the band members. “What qualities must we have to truly be considered human?” asks Ivars Ozoliņš.

Prior to the album’s release, singles such as "Mūzikas izlase", "DNS", and the newly released "Komēta krīt" were shared. The latter symbolizes a new beginning, a fresh chapter in life, and the transformative power of change. The song was created with support from the LaIPA scholarship.

The creative team behind the album primarily includes band members Ivars Ozoliņš, Arnis Ozoliņš, Māris Skrodis, and long-time collaborators Juris Ludženieks, Kristers Rudzītis, Kristjāns Daniēls Krievkalns, among others. Production and post-production involved international producers Dirk Scholten from the Netherlands and Sander Sadam from Estonia. Final sound editing was done by Sander and Jānis Šmēdiņš.

The album "Mēs skaitāmies cilvēki" is now available on all major streaming platforms, and physical copies can be purchased in limited quantities at the album release event.

To celebrate the release, Audiokvartāls invites everyone to a special launch event on June 7 at the Tallinas Street Quarter in Riga — ConTakts. The audience can expect an intimate concert featuring the new songs and special guest appearances from artists who collaborated on the album.

This summer, the band will also perform at various festivals and city celebrations.
