“Very often the mind simply follows painful past experiences and believes the same will happen again. And then it's easier – to be the first to leave, before it hurts again. This song is a reminder – never give up. Every person we meet is a new page. If not happiness, then at least a lesson,” says Sandija.

The song “Es jau neteicu” is more than just another summer single. It’s an open conversation in music, where listeners can hear both harsh reality and hope, as well as the desire to learn to trust again.

Sandija previously gained wide recognition in various Latvian music shows and later performed internationally – singing in Morocco, Switzerland, Cyprus, and London. After a long time away from Latvia, she returned home but also experienced a creative pause.

Today, she is back – not because she had to, but because her heart could no longer stay silent.

“If God has given me this voice and the ability to write, I want to use it. I want to give songs a pulse – so they live not only in my heart but also in the ears of listeners.”
