Smash Into Pieces to perform at Palladium Riga this autumn

Powerful vocals, sweeping melodies, aggressive guitars, and a symphonic metal grandeur – all of these elements define the Swedish pop-metal band Smash Into Pieces, who will shake the Palladium Riga concert hall on October 5.

Smash Into Pieces captivated listeners from their debut single “Fading,” which begins as a short-form rock opera with acoustic, lyrical moods, unexpectedly pulls the audience into a whirlwind of heavy rock and dizzying guitar solos, and finally lays them gently back on solid ground, crowned by the calm after the storm.

Having signed with Gain Music Entertainment – a label under Sony Music Entertainment Sweden since 1995 – and awarded the “Bandit Rock” newcomer of the year in 2012, Smash Into Pieces released their debut album Unbreakable. After the album’s success, reaching 7th place in Sweden’s charts, the band embarked on a European tour to bring their explosive live shows to a broader audience.

To date, they’ve released eight studio albums, featuring Chris Adam’s electrifying vocals, virtuosic guitar and drum work, and a strong presence of electronic sounds. Still, they’ve proven they can deliver it all with classic rock instruments – as shown in the acoustic “deluxe” edition of their 2021 album A New Horizon.

With notable international success, the band participated in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen in both 2023 and 2024, and launched their first headline tour in North America after previously touring there as a support act.

Their most successful single to date is “Six Feet Under” from last year’s album Ghost Code. In 2024, the group has already released several new singles – including "Wildfire," "Hurricane," "Maze of Fools," "Heroes," "Man or Machine," "Paradise," and "A Sky Full of Stars" – which they invite Latvian audiences to experience live on October 5 at Palladium Riga.
