Although Toms is already known as a singer and songwriter, he initially sought help with the lyrics. However, shortly before finishing the song, the intended co-author had to withdraw for personal reasons, so Toms ended up writing the lyrics himself. “And I’m glad it happened that way! It’s the first song I’ve ever written entirely – both music and lyrics. That’s why it will always hold a special place in my heart,” he adds.
The song was produced by Roberts Petersons and features vocals from Julianna Tīruma, who brings a dreamy warmth and lightness to the track.
